If you have the original Half Life you’ve already played it and the visual differences are so minor as to be valueless if you have played the original!!!!Īt the end of the day this is a totally pointless exercise,įun - You need Half Life to run it so you’ve already played it, so you already know it is fun because IT IS HALF LIFEĪll the team behind it have proved, is they can convert from one gaming platform to another!!! I really can’t see how its possible to rate this, as it is not the original creation of the team who converted it, you need the original Half Life to run it. I got as far as about half way through ” On a Rail” before thinking “why am I bothering with this?”. I downloaded, installed and ran this, but when it became obvious this was the Half Life I’ve already played MANY times and after finding no really obvious difference, I switched on the the cheats. Am I missing the point here? I’m sure our dear friend Barnz will tell me, as from looking at the HLDC readme, he was involved in it! Now it has been made into a mod to run on a PC for which you need Half Life to play it. Ok! If I’ve got this right, this is Half Life that was intended for the Dreamcast and is as near as damn it identical.
